Baratza Forte

The Baratza Forte is a top of the line home / light commercial grinder by Baratza. If you want to make cafe quality coffee at home consistently, this grinder can help you get there.

This machine is a workhorse. Creates lovely clump free grinds for excellent espresso, and can also be used for any other type of brewing. You can either dose by time or weight, with up to 3 preset doses or times, as well as manual dosing.

The Baratza Forte BG model includes stainless steel burrs, which produce a more uniform grind, but are slower, especially for espresso. These are ideal for high clarity pour overs.

The Baratza Forte AP model includes a portafilter holder and ceramic burrs, which results in faster grinding. We use this as our go to for home espresso grinding. (although the grind by weight function doesn’t operate with the portafilter holder installed, but we always pre-weigh our dose)
